Chick-Fil-A announced recently that September 3rd, 2012 will be their first annual "Gay Day at Chick-Fil-A."  This comes in direct response to recent criticisms of their openly anti-gay stance. Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy told the Baptist Press in an interview that he was "guilty as charged" in support of what he called the biblical definition of a family, but after careful consideration, the corporation has reversed its position. "Chick-Fil-A would like to extend its deepest apologies for our former stance on homosexual marriage, which was unacceptably discriminatory and hateful," said District Manager Cory Corbinno. "We were wrong, and we're sorry."

Cathy has since apologized, and sent heartfelt wishes of happiness to all loving couples, homosexual or not. "After careful review of the Bible, I realize that God calls on us to love others, not hate them. Therefore, Chick-Fil-A will no longer frown upon gay marriage, because, let's face it...we aren't God and we shouldn't put words in God's mouth based on our own limited understanding of the Bible."
The chain encourages everyone to visit Chick-Fil-A on September 3rd, not to eat, but to wish the workers a "Happy Gay Day at Chick-Fil-A."

In an effort to be more biblical, Chick-Fil-A would also like for gay supporters to be dressed in a rainbow t-shirt, to promote awareness of the Great Flood which occurred on September 3rd, 4990 B.C.
